Challenge
Auburn Corporate Center is a two-building, two-story suburban office complex, with Building I at 150,000 SF and Building II at 116,000 SF. It was originally built for The Boeing Company.
Andover represented Zones, Inc. in leasing more than 106,000 SF there, and the owner of Zones then bought both buildings with Andover's help. After the purchase, the challenge was keeping the buildings full of creditworthy tenants.
Strategy
Andover rolled out a new marketing plan with clear, concise materials built around the complex's strengths: abundant parking and retail and restaurant amenities within walking distance.
The team then went aggressively to users and brokers, and responded quickly to every requirement that could fit the project.
Results
Andover leased more than 50,000 SF in six months in a weak market and brought the 266,000 SF project to 99% occupancy.
The property became much more valuable and is the corporate headquarters for a number of quality companies.
